Miriam Drori won a copy of my latest book, Kwaito Love. When she put her name into the draw she admitted she was not a fan of romance but perhaps Kwaito Love made her change her mind a bit. She's written about the book here. Here's an excerpt:
Thanks Miriam!
How lovely! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue!
ReplyDeleteGreat review. Wish I'd won the book. Can you point me to where I can best order online ('best' being that you get the most decent cut!).
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Lauri! And yes, perhaps next time I need a temporary escape, I'll look for another romance.
ReplyDeleteI was just telling my husband that I have 10 published books now and no one can buy them- FRUSTRATING.
ReplyDeleteMaxine- Kwaito Love is only sold through a romance books club. You can try this email: romancebooks@truelove.co.za. On the promotional materials it says the club is only available to people in South Africa and Namibia. :(
Mirim- Have I converted you to romance? I never thought I would like writing romance but I do. It's a lot like mystery in that you must really control your plot. Now I've had a bit of success, I'm going to try a mystery/romance for a big international publisher. I also have another one coming out with Sapphire in August, it's called He Can't Be The One.
A very nice review, Lauri. Congratulations. It sounds like a lovely book.

Lauri, I read your comment about wanting to try mystery/romance and am in awe of writers who can switch around. Sorry, but I do not get why you cannot sell your books?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds right up my alley. I wish it were more available, I would get a copy.
